Colorized

1.  What stands out in this photo is the color of the covers over the lights. I notice that the light colored light bulb cover is rather bright and the blue one is pretty bright as well.  I think of warmth and home when I see this lamp on in this arrangement.

2.  What I see in this photo is a multi-headed lamp with different colors covering the bulbs.  The two lights are coming from the bottom right side of the picture and the left cover is a blue while the right cover is a creamy white color.  Behind and above these two lights is a wall and window with pipes going from the middle top to the top of the right side.  The room the lamp is in looks like it has been around for a good while as well.

3.  The composition of this photo is interesting because the one light is covering up the other while the background is at an odd tilted angle.  The quality of the lines is good because there are strong differences between the light covers and the wall of the background.  The color in this photo is rather dull but the brightness of the lamp prongs makes up for it. The bright blue and bright creme colors contrast very well.  The placement of the lamp prongs make this photo interesting because they stand out so much from the background.

4. I think that my photo tells a story about being creative. If I would have taken this photo from a direct on stance looking at it while the background was parallel to the edges of the photo it would have been rather boring.  I decided to use my sense of creativity and make the dull scene interesting by putting the background at a funky tilt and only using two of the five prongs.  When you use what creativity you have, it usually makes something dull into something rather interesting and if you continue to use that logic you will be able to make many dull moments rather exciting.  A one word title for this photo would be - Creativity.

5.  My photo connects to the works of Paul Cezanne in the sense that it uses color rather well. Cezanne was very fond of using colors and contrasted them well. My photo contrasts the little color it has in it very well and makes the lights pop out.  My photo was a set up still life and most of Cezanne's works are painted or drawn from a still life as well.
